Waiting on Hannah's photo
Hi, I'm Hannah
I started making art very young — everyone around me says it was as soon as I could hold a pencil. I was homeschooled until I was about nine, and since my family was a little slower to adopt new technology, I spent a lot of my free time drawing and creating. I still have books filled with little sketches from when I was growing up.
Over time, art became something that made me feel special and a little different — in the best way. I was always encouraged by the people around me to keep going. Creating has truly just always been a natural and meaningful part of my life.
What Inspires Me
I'm most inspired by things that feel visually beautiful and emotionally meaningful. I'm drawn to the deeper side of what it means to be human — and to the quiet sense that there is something more to life than what we can immediately see.
Nature is a constant source of inspiration, from organic textures and colors to the calm, grounding feeling of being outdoors. My love for animals is another huge part of it — especially the deep emotional bonds we share with them, which often shows up in my pet portrait work.
A Little More About Me
I'm a Bay Area native, currently based in Vallejo. I've always been a huge animal lover — I currently have four pet rats, and growing up my home was always full of animals, which shaped a big part of who I am and why I love creating pet portraits.
I love music, camping, gardening, and spending time in nature whenever I can. Creatively, I'm very hands-on and love working across all kinds of projects — from drawing and painting to jewelry, sewing, and even music. I genuinely enjoy learning new skills and I'm always excited to take on something new and figure it out along the way.
